Welcome to Invitations By Skye! All of our work is personalised to suit your event and personal style, and we take pride in our attention to detail and customer service. Each job we treat as our own event and finish it all to the highest quality. We can make amazing works of art embellished with rhinestones and pearls, and we can do gorgeous graphic design invitations printed on luxurious ‘Marshmallow White’ paper. Place cards, seating arrangement charts, save the date cards, table names, it can all be beautifully designed to coordinate with your invitations and we can do it all here!

Our range of papers and embellishments are endless, so together we can create a masterpiece that will take your guest’s breath away.

Letter Pressing Invitations

Whiteman Park Print Shop specialises in beautifully finished letter pressed invitations and accessories. Phil who runs the print shop has been involved in Letter Pressing for over 47 years gaining his apprenticeship in 1963 and has run the Whiteman Park Print Shop since 1988. With a wealth of experience and a love and passion for creating timeless and amazingly beautiful works of art.

Phil has a large open workshop should you wish to see him and discuss your ideas, he has 3 machines and would be more than happy to show you how it all works (trust us its truly amazing!) Letter pressing was the first widely used printing method developed in the mid 15th century, it has a distinct and recognizable style and when done skillfully it is one of the most beautiful printing methods you could find.

Invitations, when to send, who, how, so many questions!

Your invitations not only inform your guests of the date, time and location of your big day it also sets the tone and theme of your wedding. Your invitations are a perfect way to incorporate your colours, flowers and themes of your wedding.

Not only will you need invitations, you may also need RSVP/Wedding acceptance cards, place cards, wishing well cards, accommodation cards, save the date cards, bonbonniere and so much more!

Your wedding invitations should be sent around 6 weeks prior to your wedding, save the date cards are great to send 10-12 months prior as it allows out of town guests to make arrangements. If you are marring overseas or interstate consider posting your invitations a few months early, this way your guests can book their flights and accommodation and make a real holiday out of your big day!

When choosing your invitations consider the sized envelope if will fit in, a DL size will be standard postage cost but however a larger square may cost more.
